Automechanika Dubai 2026 Welcomes Dubai Department Of Economy And Tourism As Official Host City Partner
Automechanika Dubai 2026 will bring government and automotive aftermarket businesses together as international trade, investment and evolving mobility needs create new opportunities for the sector. Set against the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33, the show takes place at Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC), Expo City Dubai, from 10 to 12 November. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and the UAE Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure (MOEI) continue as Government Supporters, while the Dubai Department of Economy & Tourism (DET) joins as official Host City Partner.
Government–industry collaboration is increasingly relevant as the aftermarket responds to changing vehicle technologies, supply chains and customer needs. Bringing public-sector perspectives together with commercial experience can help businesses understand market direction and plan for growth. Developments in hybrid, electric and connected vehicles make that dialogue particularly valuable, with implications for workshop capabilities, technical training and supporting infrastructure.
RTA’s continued support brings a Dubai mobility and transport perspective to the wider government–industry conversation, as aftermarket businesses consider the implications of smarter mobility and evolving vehicle technologies.
MOEI’s remit across energy, infrastructure and transport brings a UAE-wide perspective to the discussion of sustainable and future mobility, complementing the practical experience of businesses supplying and servicing an evolving vehicle fleet.
DET’s partnership highlights Dubai’s role as a global commercial hub, connecting the aftermarket with international trade, business growth and investment opportunities central to D33. The event provides a meeting point for suppliers, buyers and potential business partners across the Middle East, Africa, Asia and key CIS markets. Its established international reach was demonstrated at the 2025 edition, which welcomed visitors from 162 countries.
D33 aims to double the size of Dubai’s economy by 2033, raise foreign trade to AED 25.6 trillion over the decade and position the emirate among the world’s five leading logistics hubs. By connecting international aftermarket businesses for sourcing and commercial partnerships, Automechanika Dubai offers a sector-specific platform relevant to those ambitions. Its move to DEC places that activity within Dubai’s wider trade and logistics ecosystem.
After 22 editions at Dubai World Trade Centre, the show’s move to DEC places it close to Al Maktoum International Airport, Jebel Ali Port, JAFZA and Dubai South. The venue is on the Dubai Metro Red Line at Expo 2020 Station. Etihad Rail’s new Al Yalayis station opened on 30 September, a short drive from DEC, with passenger services to Abu Dhabi and Fujairah.
H.E. Eng. Mohammed Al Mansoori, Undersecretary for Infrastructure and Transport Affairs at the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, said: “The UAE continues to advance an integrated vision for future mobility by developing world-class infrastructure, enabling sustainable transport solutions, and strengthening the energy systems that support the transition to next-generation vehicles. This transformation requires close collaboration between government entities, industry leaders, and technology providers to build a resilient and future-ready mobility ecosystem.
As part of the UAE’s strategic priorities, we are committed to fostering innovation, enhancing connectivity, and supporting the adoption of advanced mobility solutions that contribute to economic growth and environmental sustainability. Automechanika Dubai provides a valuable platform for bringing together key stakeholders from across the automotive and mobility sectors, enabling meaningful partnerships and knowledge exchange that will help shape the future of transport and infrastructure in the region.”
Tommy Le, Show Manager, Automechanika Dubai, said: “Workshops, suppliers, distributors and fleet operators are adapting to hybrid, electric and connected vehicles at the same time. Those changes depend on infrastructure, regulation and skills as well as the products on offer. The perspectives of government stakeholders, including RTA and MOEI, complement the experience of the businesses that buy, sell and service vehicles. DET’s role as Host City Partner reinforces Dubai’s position as a platform for international business and networking. Bringing them together helps professionals visiting in November understand where the market is heading and build the knowledge and contacts to act on it.”
The commercial significance of that dialogue is reflected in the region’s growth outlook. Glasgow Research and Consulting forecasts that the Middle East and Africa automotive aftermarket will reach USD 87 billion by 2034, growing at a compound annual growth rate of up to 7%. Alongside 11 product sections, Automechanika Dubai 2026 will combine conferences offering thought leadership and industry intelligence with hands-on training, awards and live demonstrations. The programme will help businesses interpret market developments, build technical capabilities and experience new technologies in practice.
By bringing government, industry and international businesses together, Automechanika Dubai 2026 will help aftermarket professionals understand market direction, build commercial connections and identify opportunities as the regional sector evolves. At DEC this November, visitors from the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe and the CIS will be able to turn those insights into sourcing decisions, new partnerships and plans for growth.
