The Desert Vipers Renew Partnership With JA Resorts & Hotels, Announce JA The Resort As Their Official Hotel Partner, And JA Sports And Shooting Club As Their Official Training BASE
The Desert Vipers are pleased to confirm JA The Resort as their Official Hotel Partner and the JA Sports and Shooting Club as their official training base for a period of three years. The agreement extends an already successful partnership that began in the first season of the DP World ILT20.
JA The Resort has hosted the Desert Vipers across all four seasons of the DP World ILT20, providing the team with consistently high standards of care and service. This agreement formalises a long-standing and significant collaboration between the two organisations.
Beyond accommodation, JA The Resort has become an important venue for the Desert Vipers’ wider partner activities during the DP World ILT20, hosting events such as the annual Golf Day, the BioBlitz and team dinners. Under the new three-year agreement, these activations will continue, with Desert Vipers’ top players supporting promotional activity that showcases the hotel and its facilities.
As part of the new agreement, the JA logo will appear on the Desert Vipers website and across a variety of marketing materials.
Adding a valuable layer to the partnership are the recently launched cricket ovals at the JA Sports and Shooting Club, conveniently located across the road from JA Lake View Hotel at JA The Resort, Jebel Ali, that not only provides a perfect space for the Desert Vipers Talent Pathway Programme powered by Balqis, but also offers a facility for the School’s Programme fixtures, and, most importantly, a training base for the Vipers’ senior team during the DP World ILT20.
The Desert Vipers will advise JA The Resort on how to maximise use of the Sports and Shooting Club for community programmes, events and competitions, while attracting professional sides and local and international university, school and club teams.
Sustainability is another common ground where both sides will continue work on developing initiatives to reduce the negative impact of sport on the planet.
The Desert Vipers CEO Phil Oliver said: “We are delighted to extend our valued relationship with JA Resorts & Hotels Over the past four DP World ILT20 seasons, JA The Resort has been our team’s home, and our partnership has grown across hospitality, cricket and sustainability.
“We share a commitment to sporting excellence, while recognising our responsibility to protect the environment and help secure a sustainable future for sport, people and the planet. We are excited about all that we can achieve together over the next three years and beyond.”
JA Sports & Shooting Club General Manager, Stuart Gibb said: ““We are delighted to deepen our partnership with the Desert Vipers, a relationship that began at JA The Resort during the inaugural season of the DP World ILT20. Welcoming the team to JA Sports & Shooting Club as their official training base marks an exciting new chapter, not only for the partnership but for the wider sporting community. Supporting the development of emerging UAE talent sits naturally alongside our vision for the Club as a place where athletes, teams and enthusiasts can come together to train, compete and grow. We look forward to what we can achieve together in the years ahead.”
