Living check-to-check as a low-rent private investigator, Mason is haunted by his wartime experiences in France and suffering the effects of a broken marriage, but a kidnapping gone wrong leads to Mason exposing a fractured city as he uncovers the truth behind the crime.

Arabella, a carefree and self-assured woman who has a flourishing career and personal life, begins must question and rebuild every aspect of her life when she develops a drinking problem following the incidents of one fateful evening.

In a woman-dominated world, three witches enlist themselves in the U.S. army and face the terrorist organization Spree – a group against having witches in the service.
